Description: |
| The scheme incorporates a cutting-edge visitor centre development. The building that houses the visitor centre has been blended sensitively into the contours of the local terrain and covered by grass hills. The building includes a restaurant, café, shop and the ‘Atlantic Edge’ - a state of the art interpretation centre containing informative exhibits and displays on the environs of the Cliffs of Moher. |

| A new state of the art performance venue. The new 7,000sqm theatre has a 750 seater auditorium specifically designed for opera. The auditorium will have an adjustable configuration for out of season shows. Other facilities include a 150 seat second space/cinema, bars, café, hospitality areas and enhanced backstage facilities. |

| The centre will boast an area of 3,130m2, comprising of 4 principal gallery spaces and a 353 seater theatre. The gallery unique in Ireland will facilitate the display of installations of a scale of 29m long by 16m wide with a clear ceiling height of over 11m. A studio gallery will be provided along with a link and digital gallery. |

| Works included the major refurbishment of all halls, upgrading of the M&E Installation to a modern specification, a new roof on side wings, modifications to allow for disabled access and the original handcrafted staircases and cornices were sensitively renovated and repaired. Works were phased to allow concert bookings to continue without disruption. |
