Comprehensive Building Surveying Services
We offer an advisory service for end-to-end building project management from the initial planning stage up to and including management of the actual construction contract. This includes preparation of outline designs, specifications, budgets and programme. As the design stage develops we will manage the design team, obtain statutory approvals, complete detailed design and tender documents and procure construction contracts.
Advisory Role
Alternatively, we offer individual services for both tenants and landlords such as diagnosing buildings for actual or latent failures, assessment of maintenance conditions, leasehold liabilities and negotiation of financial settlements. We have a great deal of experience working with insurers and loss adjusters. Our facilities management service is designed to help you improve operational and cost-efficiency.
Health & Safety Services (PSDP & CDMC)
The CDM (NI) Regulations 2007 and the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2006 (ROI) require that Health & Safety in the form of risk identification and management must be taken into account throughout all stages of a construction project from inception through the design, planning, construction, operation, maintenance and to the eventual deconstruction of that which has been provided.
Nolan Ryan Tweeds Health and Safety Experts are fully conversant with the requirements of the appropriate Health & Safety Regulations and will ensure that each individual Client is protected from the risks of non-compliance by offering advice and assistance to ensure that all duties under the Regulations are met.
At Nolan Ryan Tweeds our approach is to work hand-in-hand with the design function, with the ability to manage the role so that the design team can deliver can deliver its most effective input. Our Construction Programme function exists to be the project’s insurance policy: to identify and control issues that could affect the project's sustainability and feasibility, while also supporting other duty holders in their monitoring of any risk that could affect either progress or cost.

Operating as a specialist Civil Engineering Quantity Surveying division since 2004, Nolan Ryan Tweeds has worked on a broad spectrum of projects including roads & bridges, airports, light rail, main drainage, water supply, landfill & remediation, marine, sports facilities, public space & amenity and site development works.
Nolan Ryan Tweeds combines commercial, contractual, technical and management expertise with modern, sophisticated tools and techniques to provide effective project cost solutions and ensure a high level client service.
The Civil Engineering Quantity Surveying expertise has provided the foundation for an in-house cost database, which is continually updated to take account of sustainable engineering advances in the market place. This cost database provides the basis for whole life cost studies, benchmarking and value engineering of cost effective design options.
Nolan Ryan Tweeds recognizes that, in delivering cost certainty on civil engineering projects, experience and understanding of both project management and construction methods are crucial in delivering a value for money product.
